Falmer Hardened Gauntlets are heavy armor gauntlets from Dawnguard. They have a base armor rating of 13 and weigh 7. Falmer Warmongers wear them.

Armor Enchantment

Any armor enchantment can be placed on a Falmer Hardened Gauntlets at an arcane enchanter.

Every armor enchantment is listed under Enchantment Effects.

Falmer Hardened Gauntlets Location

Falmer Warmongers wear them, and Falmer Shadowmasters sometimes do.

Gameplay Tips

Temper them at a workbench with one Chaurus Chitin. The Advanced Armors perk doubles the improvement.
Falmer Heavy Gauntlets give 16 armor for 1 less weight.
Four Falmer Hardened pieces count as a matched set for the Matching Set perk, which adds 25% armor.

Smithing Guide

Enchanted weapons require the Arcane Blacksmith Perk to upgrade.

Upgrades

A Falmer Hardened Gauntlets is improved at a workbench with one Chaurus Chitin per improvement. The Advanced Armors perk doubles the improvement, so each quality tier needs less Smithing skill. An enchanted copy can only be improved with the Arcane Blacksmith perk.
