Deathbrand Gauntlets are unique light armor gauntlets from Dragonborn and a variant of Stalhrim Light Bracers. They have a base armor rating of 11.5 and boost one-handed attacks while dual-wielding. It is one of four pieces buried across Solstheim during the Deathbrand quest, which opens at level 36.

Armor Enchantment

While dual-wielding, one-handed attacks do 10% more damage for each Deathbrand piece worn, up to 40% with all four.

The Enchantment Effects page lists every armor enchantment.

Gameplay Tips

Temper them at a workbench with one piece of Stalhrim. The Ebony Smithing perk doubles the improvement, and the Arcane Blacksmith perk is needed.
Their armor rating and weight match Stalhrim Light Bracers.
Wearing all four Deathbrand pieces adds 100 armor through the helm and raises every per-piece bonus to its maximum.

Smithing Guide

Enchanted weapons require the Arcane Blacksmith Perk to upgrade.

Upgrades

Deathbrand Gauntlets are improved at a workbench with one Stalhrim per improvement. The Ebony Smithing perk doubles the improvement, so each quality tier needs less Smithing skill. An enchanted copy can only be improved with the Arcane Blacksmith perk.
