Vampire Armor
Vampire Armor is a light armor cuirass from Dawnguard with a base armor rating of 25 and a weight of 5. It comes in red, black and light gray, with the same stats in each color. Vampires across Skyrim wear it.
Armor Enchantment

Vampire Armor Location
Vampire enemies wear it, so copies drop from them. Hestla sells all three colors in Castle Volkihar once the Volkihar vampires are joined. More copies lie in the castle's coffin room.
Gameplay Tips
- Temper it at a workbench with one Leather. The Advanced Armors perk doubles the improvement.
- It weighs 5, one less than Leather Armor, for 25 armor against 26.
Smithing Guide
Enchanted weapons require the Arcane Blacksmith Perk to upgrade.
Upgrades
A Vampire Armor is improved at a workbench with one Leather per improvement. The Advanced Armors perk doubles the improvement, so each quality tier needs less Smithing skill. An enchanted copy can only be improved with the Arcane Blacksmith perk.
