Godskin Noble is a great boss in Elden Ring.
The Godskin Noble is a bloated, ancient apostle in robes of stitched skin who wields a thin blade and black flame. It guards the serpent altar in the Temple of Eiglay deep within Volcano Manor. Another stands on the bridge to the Divine Tower of Liurnia along Ranni's path. For all its bulk it attacks fast, and later it rolls across the arena like a wheel.
Lore
The noble is a stout, swollen figure wrapped in robes of soft skin, with an apron sewn with seven faces. It fights with an elegant thrusting sword and hurls black flame. It can inflate its huge belly to crush and roll over its foes.
Nobles are the most ancient of the apostles, said to have taken on an inhuman body, not unlike the Crucible, the primordial form of the Erdtree.
Like the other Godskins, they served the Gloam-Eyed Queen and wielded the god-slaying black flame.

Phases
- Phase 1: The noble fights with rapier thrusts, sweeps, belly shoves and black flame.
- Phase 2: Later in the fight it inflates its belly to roll across the arena and to float up and crash down.
Attacks
- Black Flame: it raises its left hand and throws a fast black fireball that keeps burning; dodge sideways as it throws.
- Black Flame Ritual: it lowers and raises its hand to raise pillars of black flame around itself; back away and keep distance.
- Stab and Sweep: long-reaching thrusts and sweeping slashes; keep to its sides and watch for follow ups.
- Impaling Thrust: it slowly lifts the blade overhead, then thrusts with huge damage; get around it or roll aside.
- Belly Shove and Backhand: quick shoves and slaps to push foes away; roll back.
- Tail Swipe: it lifts its tail and sweeps the floor; roll to the left.
- Godskin Wheel: it bloats, leaps onto its side and rolls like a wheel; sprint aside and hide behind pillars.
- Godskin Crusher: it inflates, floats upward and slams down; roll in as it descends.
Tactics
- Throw a Sleep Pot; one usually puts it to sleep for several free hits.
- Circle around it to avoid its combos and step back when it casts black flame pillars.
- Strike during the roll to interrupt its Godskin Wheel.
- Use pillars to block its rolling attack and to heal.
- Keep a shield ready for its quick thrusts.
- Avoid fire and holy damage, which it resists.
