Dawnguard Boots are the light armor boots of the Dawnguard order of vampire hunters. They have a base armor rating of 8 and weigh only 1.5. Members of the order wear them during the Dawnguard questline.

Members of the Dawnguard wear them, and Gunmar sells Dawnguard gear at Fort Dawnguard once he joins the order.

Gameplay Tips

Temper them at a workbench with one Steel Ingot. The Advanced Armors perk doubles the improvement.
A full set of Dawnguard light armor cuts the damage taken from vampires by 25%.
Wearing all four Dawnguard pieces together earns the extra 25% armor of the Matching Set perk.

Enchanted weapons require the Arcane Blacksmith Perk to upgrade.

Upgrades

A Dawnguard Boots is improved at a workbench with one Steel Ingot per improvement. The Advanced Armors perk doubles the improvement, so each quality tier needs less Smithing skill. An enchanted copy can only be improved with the Arcane Blacksmith perk.
