Dawnguard Armor is the light armor cuirass of the Dawnguard order of vampire hunters. It has a base armor rating of 29 and weighs 6. It comes in three colors and styles. Members of the order wear it during the Dawnguard questline.

Armor Enchantment

Any armor enchantment can be placed on a Dawnguard Armor at an arcane enchanter.

Dawnguard Armor Location

Members of the Dawnguard wear it, and Gunmar sells Dawnguard gear at Fort Dawnguard once he joins the order.

Gameplay Tips

Temper it at a workbench with one Steel Ingot. The Advanced Armors perk doubles the improvement.
A full set of Dawnguard light armor cuts the damage taken from vampires by 25%.
Wearing all four Dawnguard pieces together earns the extra 25% armor of the Matching Set perk.

Smithing Guide

Enchanted weapons require the Arcane Blacksmith Perk to upgrade.

Upgrades

A Dawnguard Armor is improved at a workbench with one Steel Ingot per improvement. The Advanced Armors perk doubles the improvement, so each quality tier needs less Smithing skill. An enchanted copy can only be improved with the Arcane Blacksmith perk.
