Stalhrim Boots
Stalhrim Boots are heavy armor boots from Dragonborn and part of the Stalhrim set. They have a base armor rating of 17 and weigh 7. Pairs turn up on Solstheim from level 35.
Armor Enchantment
Any armor enchantment can be placed on a Stalhrim Boots at an arcane enchanter.
Every armor enchantment is listed under Enchantment Effects.
Stalhrim Boots Location
Baldor Iron-Shaper, the blacksmith in Skaal Village, sells Stalhrim gear. Chests and other random loot on Solstheim hold pairs from level 35.
Gameplay Tips
- Temper them at a workbench with one Stalhrim. The Ebony Smithing perk doubles the improvement.
- Forge them from 4 Stalhrim, 1 Quicksilver Ingot and 2 Leather Strips. Forging them needs the Ebony Smithing perk and the quest A New Source of Stalhrim.
- Their 17 armor matches Dragonplate Boots for 1 less weight.
- Four Stalhrim pieces count as a matched set for the Matching Set perk, which adds 25% armor.
Smithing Guide
Enchanted weapons require the Arcane Blacksmith Perk to upgrade.
Crafting
A Stalhrim Boots is made at a forge with the Ebony Smithing perk.

Upgrades
A Stalhrim Boots is improved at a workbench with one Stalhrim per improvement. The Ebony Smithing perk doubles the improvement, so each quality tier needs less Smithing skill. An enchanted copy can only be improved with the Arcane Blacksmith perk.
