Any forge makes them. Forging them needs the Bonemold Formula, which is recovered for Glover Mallory during the quest Paid in Full.
Gameplay Tips
- Temper them at a workbench with two Bone Meal. The Steel Smithing perk doubles the improvement.
- Forge them with the Steel Smithing perk from 6 Bone Meal, 1 Netch Leather, 1 Iron Ingot, 1 Netch Jelly, 1 Stalhrim and 1 Void Salts.
- Four Improved Bonemold pieces count as a matched set for the Matching Set perk, which adds 25% armor.
