Daedric Shield Location

Chests and other random loot hold copies from level 48, and enchanted copies appear from level 49. The Dremora Merchant can sell it at high levels. The Atronach Forge at the College of Winterhold can also make it from an Ebony Shield, a Daedra Heart, a Centurion Dynamo Core and a Black Soul Gem. That recipe needs a Sigil Stone placed in the forge instead of the perk.

Gameplay Tips

Temper it at a workbench with one Ebony Ingot. The Daedric Smithing perk doubles the improvement.
Forge it with the Daedric Smithing perk from 4 Ebony Ingots, 1 Daedra Heart and one set of Leather Strips.
Its 36 armor beats the 34 of the Dragonplate Shield.
