Baldor Iron-Shaper, the blacksmith in Skaal Village, sells Stalhrim gear. Chests and other random loot on Solstheim hold copies from level 35.
Gameplay Tips
- Temper it at a workbench with one Stalhrim. The Ebony Smithing perk doubles the improvement.
- Forge it from 4 Stalhrim, 1 Steel Ingot and one set of Leather Strips. Forging it needs the Ebony Smithing perk and the quest A New Source of Stalhrim.
- Its 29.5 armor is the highest of any light shield in the base game and its add-ons.

A Stalhrim Shield is improved at a workbench with one Stalhrim per improvement. The Ebony Smithing perk doubles the improvement, so each quality tier needs less Smithing skill. An enchanted copy can only be improved with the Arcane Blacksmith perk.
