Stalhrim Helmet
The Stalhrim Helmet is a heavy armor helmet from Dragonborn and part of the Stalhrim set. It has a base armor rating of 22 and weighs 7. Copies turn up on Solstheim from level 35.
Armor Enchantment
Any armor enchantment can be placed on a Stalhrim Helmet at an arcane enchanter.
The Enchantment Effects page lists every armor enchantment.
Stalhrim Helmet Location
Baldor Iron-Shaper, the blacksmith in Skaal Village, sells Stalhrim gear. Chests and other random loot on Solstheim hold copies from level 35.
Gameplay Tips
- Temper it at a workbench with one Stalhrim. The Ebony Smithing perk doubles the improvement.
- Forge it from 4 Stalhrim, 1 Quicksilver Ingot and 2 Leather Strips. Forging it needs the Ebony Smithing perk and the quest A New Source of Stalhrim.
- Its 22 armor matches the Dragonplate Helmet for 1 less weight.
- Four Stalhrim pieces count as a matched set for the Matching Set perk, which adds 25% armor.
Smithing Guide
Enchanted weapons require the Arcane Blacksmith Perk to upgrade.
Crafting
A Stalhrim Helmet is made at a forge with the Ebony Smithing perk.

Upgrades
A Stalhrim Helmet is improved at a workbench with one Stalhrim per improvement. The Ebony Smithing perk doubles the improvement, so each quality tier needs less Smithing skill. An enchanted copy can only be improved with the Arcane Blacksmith perk.
