The Blades Sword is a one-handed katana-style sword in The Elder Scrolls:V Skyrim. The weapon is utilized by the members of the Blades faction. The blades sword has has a similar visual design as the Blades sword in Oblivion.

Where to find the Blades Sword Location?
You can get the Blades Swords at several locations, there are also unique versions of the blade sword that are more powerful, like Dragonbane.
- Recruitable Blades followers carry one, they can be traded with and the sword taken from their inventory.
- Six can be located on the weapon rack next to the chest containing Blades armor in Sky Haven Temple and can be acquired during the quest "Alduin's Wall."
- Delphine possesses two, while Esbern has one, both of which can only be obtained through pickpocketing.
- One is located on the weapon rack in Delphine's Secret Room within the Sleeping Giant Inn.
- Fultheim at the ightgate Inn carries the blades sword, it can be obtained either through pickpocketing or looting from his body.
Gameplay
The blades sword is both a light one-handed weapon with a quick attack speed and base damage equivalent to that of the scimitar, Elven sword, Nord hero sword, Skyforge Steel sword, and honed ancient Nord sword. This makes it a useful weapon to get early during the main quest in Skyrim.

Weapon Levels
Some weapons in Skyrim are Levelled. The power of a levelled weapon is based on your charcters level when you get them. Some get stronger in both physical and magical aspects, while others only improve their enchantments. These items don't get better as your character levels up.
The Blades Sword is not a leveled weapon.
