Fur Armor is a light armor cuirass with a base armor rating of 23 and a weight of 6. It comes in four looks that share the same armor rating and weight. It turns up from the very first level, mostly on bandits.

Armor Enchantment

Any armor enchantment can be placed on a Fur Armor at an arcane enchanter.

Fur Armor Location

Copies appear in random loot from level 1. Bandits often wear it, and so do the reavers of Solstheim.

Gameplay Tips

Temper it at a workbench with one Leather.
Its 23 armor matches Studded Armor and beats the 20 of Hide Armor.

Smithing Guide

Enchanted weapons require the Arcane Blacksmith Perk to upgrade.

Upgrades

A Fur Armor is improved at a workbench with one Leather per improvement. An enchanted copy can only be improved with the Arcane Blacksmith perk.
