Leather Scout Armor is a light armor cuirass from the Alternative Armors - Leather creation. It has a base armor rating of 27 and weighs 6, close to Elven Armor in protection. Any forge can make it from the start.

Armor Enchantment

Any armor enchantment can be placed on a Leather Scout Armor at an arcane enchanter.

Every armor enchantment is listed under Enchantment Effects.

Leather Scout Armor Location

Pieces turn up in random loot, and any forge can make them from Leather and Leather Strips. A full enchanted set can be recovered in Double-Edged, a quest that starts with Zaharia's Note at Cliffside Retreat.

Gameplay Tips

Temper it at a workbench with one Leather.
It gives 27 armor against 26 for Leather Armor, from the same 4 Leather and 3 Leather Strips.
Wearing all four Leather Scout pieces together earns the extra 25% armor of the Matching Set perk.

Smithing Guide

Enchanted weapons require the Arcane Blacksmith Perk to upgrade.
