Gameplay Tips

Temper it at a workbench with one Quicksilver Ingot. The Advanced Armors perk doubles the improvement.
Forge it with the Advanced Armors perk from 6 Steel Ingots, 1 Ebony Ingot, 1 Quicksilver Ingot and 3 Leather Strips.
Its 43 armor matches Ebony Armor, which needs the much later Ebony Smithing perk.
Four Nordic Carved pieces count as a matched set for the Matching Set perk, which adds 25% armor.
