Dragonscale Armor is the light armor cuirass of the Dragonscale set. Its base armor rating of 41 is the highest of any light cuirass in the base game, at a weight of 10. It is end-game armor that turns up only rarely in loot at high levels.

Dragonscale Armor Location

Copies turn up very rarely in high-level loot. The Dragon Armor perk lets any forge make it from Dragon Scales, Iron Ingots and leather.

Gameplay Tips

Temper it at a workbench with one Dragon Scales. The Dragon Armor perk doubles the improvement.
It gives 41 armor against 38 for Glass Armor, but weighs 10 against 7.
Wearing all four Dragonscale pieces together earns the extra 25% armor of the Matching Set perk.

Smithing Guide

Enchanted weapons require the Arcane Blacksmith Perk to upgrade.
