Dragonplate Insulated Cuirass is a heavy armor cuirass from the Alternative Armors - Dragon Plate Creation. It is a variant of Dragonplate armor with a base armor rating of 48 and a weight of 40. The same Creation adds the quest Bones for a Crow.

Armor Enchantment

Any armor enchantment can be placed on a Dragonplate Insulated Cuirass at an arcane enchanter.

Every armor enchantment is listed under Enchantment Effects.

Gameplay Tips

Forge it with the Dragon Armor perk from 3 Dragon Scales, 2 Dragon Bone and 3 Leather Strips.
Its 48 armor beats the 46 of Dragonplate Armor at the same weight.

Smithing Guide

Enchanted weapons require the Arcane Blacksmith Perk to upgrade.

Crafting

A Dragonplate Insulated Cuirass is made at a forge with the Dragon Armor perk.

Upgrades

A Dragonplate Insulated Cuirass is improved at a workbench with one Dragon Bone per improvement. The Dragon Armor perk doubles the improvement, so each quality tier needs less Smithing skill. An enchanted copy can only be improved with the Arcane Blacksmith perk.
