Chitin Armor Location
Reavers on Solstheim wear it, so copies drop from them. With the Elven Smithing perk, any forge can make it from Netch Leather, an Iron Ingot and Chitin Plate.
Gameplay Tips
- Temper it at a workbench with one Chitin Plate. The Elven Smithing perk doubles the improvement.
- It gives 30 armor at a weight of 4, one more than Elven Armor at the same weight.
- Wearing all four Chitin pieces together earns the extra 25% armor of the Matching Set perk.
Smithing Guide
Enchanted weapons require the Arcane Blacksmith Perk to upgrade.
