Gameplay Tips

Temper it at a workbench with one Dragon Bone. The Dragon Armor perk doubles the improvement.
Forge it with the Dragon Armor perk, which needs Smithing 100, from 3 Dragon Scales, 2 Dragon Bone and 3 Leather Strips.
Its 46 armor sits between the 43 of Ebony Armor and the 49 of Daedric Armor, and it weighs 10 less than Daedric.
Four Dragonplate pieces count as a matched set for the Matching Set perk, which adds 25% armor.
