The Zetatech Berserk is the Berserk for fighters who drop on enemies from above. While it runs, V takes much less damage, attacks faster and suffers less from falls. With a blunt weapon in hand, V can slam into the ground from midair with a Superhero Landing. When the effect ends, every kill made during the window heals V. It suits an aggressive Body build with blunt weapons that likes to leap into a crowd. The Zetatech Berserk is a mid to late game operating system, sold by every ripperdoc in Night City and Dogtown.
Effect
A Berserk is an operating system that V switches on once it is charged. While the Zetatech Berserk is active, V takes much less damage from every hit. Health also cannot drop below a quarter. In exchange, V is limited to melee weapons, and items such as Health items are locked. Melee attacks cost no Stamina during the effect. Attack speed rises, and fall damage drops.
The Superhero Landing is the special move of this model. V jumps, presses Quick Melee in midair with a Blunt Weapon and slams into the ground below. The lower fall damage makes long drops safer while the effect runs.
When the effect ends, V regains a quarter of max Health for each enemy neutralized while it ran. Four kills refill V completely. Starting it in the middle of a crowd heals the most.
The damage reduction starts at thirty-five percent at Tier 3. It climbs to half of all incoming damage at Tier 5++. The attack speed bonus and the fall damage cut also grow with each tier. The window lasts nine seconds at first and grows to eleven. The cooldown drops from forty-five seconds to twenty-five.
The implant is attuned to Body. Each Body point adds a small bonus to damage during the Berserk. A character with full Body deals a tenth more damage while it runs.

Upgrades
The Zetatech Berserk comes in Tiers 3 to 5, with plus steps in between. Each tier raises the damage reduction, the attack speed and the fall damage cut, and lengthens the window. The cooldown also shrinks as it is upgraded. The capacity cost stays the same at every tier. Ripperdoc stock moves up a tier every ten levels. A ripperdoc can upgrade the installed implant with crafting components, which is the only way to reach Tier 5++.
The table shows what each tier step of Zetatech Berserk costs at a ripperdoc.

Character Builds
The Zetatech Berserk belongs in a Body build with blunt weapons. Quake lets V slam the ground and stagger nearby enemies. Quake can also be done from midair. Epicenter then scales the area and damage of a midair Quake with the fall speed and distance. Finisher: Savage Sling unlocks a Blunt Weapon Finisher that restores Health. Wrecking Ball cuts the Stamina cost of blunt attacks.
Reflexes perks help V get into the air. Air Dash lets V Dash in midair. Flash And Thunderclap makes Strong Attacks leap to nearby enemies, even from midair. For cyberware, Reinforced Tendons give a double jump, and Fortified Ankles give a charged jump. From the Technical Ability tree, Ticking Time Bomb sets off a charged EMP each time an operating system starts.

Lore
Zetatech builds this Berserk. Its in-game description calls it a true work of beauty. The text says it is one of the most potent and most valuable Berserk implants on the market. It also says many private security companies are said to equip their mercenaries with this exact model.
Notes
- Body builds can unlock a midair Quake through the Quake perk, which works without this Berserk.
- The Zetatech Berserk fills the operating system slot, so it replaces a Sandevistan or a cyberdeck.
