The QianT "Warp Dancer" Sandevistan is the defensive Sandevistan. It slows time only a little. In exchange, it makes V much harder to hurt while it runs. V shrugs off more of every hit and resists burning, poison and electric damage. It suits a tanky character who wants a button to press when a fight turns bad. Its low capacity cost also leaves plenty of room for other implants. The QianT "Warp Dancer" Sandevistan is a mid to late game operating system, sold by every ripperdoc in Night City and Dogtown from level 20.
Effect
A Sandevistan is an operating system that slows time for everyone except V. V presses the cyberware button to start it and can press it again to stop it early. The Warp Dancer needs a full charge before it can start.
While the Warp Dancer is active, time slows by a fifth. Enemies move a little slower, but the fight keeps a near normal pace. The Warp Dancer is built for defense. It raises Mitigation Chance and Mitigation Strength for the whole window. Mitigation gives each incoming hit a chance to be reduced. Mitigation Strength sets how much of that hit is removed. With both raised, many hits land for far less damage.
The Warp Dancer also raises resistance to Thermal, Chemical and Electrical damage. Fire, poison and shock effects hurt V much less while it runs. At Tier 5++ that resistance reaches 60 percent.
The window lasts nine to ten seconds. The cooldown is long. It starts at seventy seconds at Tier 3 and drops to forty seconds at Tier 5++.
The Warp Dancer is attuned to Reflexes. Each Reflexes point adds a tenth of a second to the maximum duration. A character with full Reflexes gains two extra seconds of protection.

Upgrades
The QianT "Warp Dancer" Sandevistan comes in Tiers 3 to 5, with plus steps in between. Each step raises some of its defenses or shortens its cooldown. The time slow stays at a fifth at every tier. The capacity cost also stays the same at every tier. It is the lightest Sandevistan to install. Ripperdocs stock Tier 3 from level 20, Tier 4 from level 30 and Tier 5 from level 40. A ripperdoc can upgrade the installed implant with crafting components, which is the only way to reach Tier 5++.

Character Builds
The QianT "Warp Dancer" Sandevistan suits a build that stacks Mitigation. In the Cool tree, Feline Footwork, Small Target, Unexposed and Serpentine all add Mitigation Chance in different situations. Ninjutsu adds Mitigation Chance while crouched. In the Reflexes tree, Can't Touch This raises Mitigation Chance during a Dash. Aerodynamic adds Mitigation Strength in midair. In the Body tree, Don't Stop Me Now adds both at low Stamina. In the Technical Ability tree, Heat Shield adds Mitigation Chance for each stack of Pyromania.
Ticking Time Bomb sets off a charged EMP each time a Sandevistan starts. Extended Warranty adds duration to all cyberware effects. Road Warrior lets V use the Sandevistan while driving. The Newton Module and Axolotl shorten cooldowns, which helps with the Warp Dancer's long wait.
Select a Build
The Sandevistan goes on at the start of every fight to slow time. Blades close the gap on groups, and a revolver lands easy headshots while time is slowed. Kills extend the Sandevistan, so the character moves from one target to the next without stopping.
