The Zetatech Sandevistan is the Sandevistan for fighters who leave the ground. On the ground it slows time a little and adds a small damage bonus. In the air, the effect grows. Time slows twice as much, V hits harder, headshots deal extra damage and falls hurt less. It suits an acrobatic Reflexes build that jumps, double jumps and Air Dashes through a fight. The Zetatech Sandevistan is an early to late game operating system, sold by every ripperdoc in Night City and Dogtown from level 10, and found during the Phantom Liberty gig Prototype in the Scraper.
Effect
A Sandevistan is an operating system that slows time for everyone except V. V presses the cyberware button to start it and can press it again to stop it early. The Zetatech Sandevistan needs a full charge before it can start.
The effect depends on where V is. On the ground, time slows by 30 percent and V deals a little more damage. In midair, time slows by 60 percent. The damage bonus doubles. V also gains a large bonus to headshot and weakspot damage. Fall damage drops by 30 percent while the effect runs.
The airborne bonuses make each jump a chance to strike. V can leap, start the Sandevistan in the air and take careful headshots while enemies move at less than half speed. The lower fall damage also makes it safer to jump down from high ledges into a fight.
The window is short at the lowest tier and grows at each tier. The cooldown shrinks at the same time. At Tier 5++ the window lasts ten seconds and the cooldown is twenty seconds.
The implant is attuned to Reflexes. Each Reflexes point adds a tenth of a second to the maximum duration. A character with full Reflexes gains two extra seconds of slowed time.
How to Get Zetatech Sandevistan Guide
- Visit any ripperdoc from level 10 to buy it at Tier 2.
- Return every ten levels for a higher tier.
- With Phantom Liberty, find one in a locker during the gig Prototype in the Scraper in Dogtown.
- Upgrade it at a ripperdoc with crafting components.

Upgrades
The Zetatech Sandevistan comes in Tiers 2 to 5, with plus steps in between. Each tier raises its damage bonuses and lengthens the window. The cooldown shrinks with almost every step. The time slow itself stays the same at every tier, both on the ground and in the air. The capacity cost also stays the same at every tier. Ripperdocs stock a higher tier every ten levels, from Tier 2 at level 10 to Tier 5 at level 40. A ripperdoc can upgrade the installed implant with crafting components, which is the only way to reach Tier 5++.
The table shows what each tier step of Zetatech Sandevistan costs at a ripperdoc.
| Upgrade | Components | Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Tier 2 to Tier 2+ | 45 Tier 2 components | - |
| Tier 2+ to Tier 3 | 22 Tier 3 components | - |
| Tier 3 to Tier 3+ | 45 Tier 3 components | - |
| Tier 3+ to Tier 4 | 22 Tier 4 components | - |
| Tier 4 to Tier 4+ | 45 Tier 4 components | - |
| Tier 4+ to Tier 5 | 22 Tier 5 components | - |

Character Builds
The Zetatech Sandevistan belongs in a Reflexes build that spends time in the air. Air Dash lets V Dash in midair. Aerial Acrobat improves control in the air. Tailwind restores Stamina after each Air Dash and Double Jump. Aerodynamic adds Mitigation Strength in midair, so V takes less damage while flying. Flash And Thunderclap lets V leap at enemies with Strong Attacks, even from midair.
For cyberware, Reinforced Tendons give V a double jump. Fortified Ankles give V a charged jump for greater distance. Either one helps V get into the air. From the Technical Ability tree, Ticking Time Bomb sets off a charged EMP each time a Sandevistan starts. Extended Warranty adds duration to all cyberware effects. From the Cool tree, Road Warrior lets V use the Sandevistan while driving.
Select a Build
The Sandevistan goes on at the start of every fight to slow time. Blades close the gap on groups, and a revolver lands easy headshots while time is slowed. Kills extend the Sandevistan, so the character moves from one target to the next without stopping.
