The Militech "Apogee" Sandevistan slows time more than any other Sandevistan. While it runs, the world crawls and V moves at full speed. V also lands critical hits more often, hits harder with them and deals more headshot damage. Each kill during the window adds time and restores Stamina, so a fast killer can chain one target into the next. It is the best Sandevistan in the game. It is the end goal for any Reflexes build that wants slowed time. The Militech "Apogee" Sandevistan is a late game Iconic operating system, sold by every ripperdoc in Night City and Dogtown from level 40.
Effect
A Sandevistan is an operating system that slows time for everyone except V. V presses the cyberware button to start it and can press it again to stop it early. The Apogee can start at any charge level. V does not have to wait for a full charge. A short burst can be spent on a couple of headshots, and the rest of the charge is kept for later.
While the Apogee is active, time slows by 85 percent. V gains headshot damage, Crit Chance and Crit Damage for the whole window. The three bonuses start at fifteen percent each at Tier 5. They reach a fifth at Tier 5++.
Kills matter while the Apogee runs. Each enemy V neutralizes during the window extends the duration by a tenth. Each kill also restores Stamina. A melee fighter can therefore keep swinging, and a gunfighter can keep firing without a pause. The base window is six seconds. The cooldown is thirty seconds at Tier 5 and twenty-five at the higher tiers.
The Apogee is attuned to Reflexes. Each Reflexes point adds a tenth of a second to the maximum duration. A character with full Reflexes gains two extra seconds of slowed time.
How to Get Militech "Apogee" Sandevistan Guide
- Reach level 40.
- Visit any ripperdoc in Night City or Dogtown to buy it at Tier 5.
- Upgrade it at a ripperdoc with crafting components for Tier 5+ and Tier 5++.

Upgrades
The Militech "Apogee" Sandevistan comes at Tier 5, Tier 5+ and Tier 5++. Each step raises the three damage bonuses. Tier 5+ also shortens the cooldown. The time slow, the duration and the kill rewards stay the same. The capacity cost is the highest of any Sandevistan, and it stays the same at every tier. Cyberware Capacity Shards and the Edgerunner perk help make room for it. A ripperdoc can upgrade the installed implant with crafting components, which is the only way to reach Tier 5++.
The table shows what each tier step of Militech "Apogee" Sandevistan costs at a ripperdoc.
| Upgrade | Components | Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Tier 5 to Tier 5+ | 75 Tier 5 components | - |
| Tier 5+ to Tier 5++ | 200 Tier 5 components | Phantom Liberty |
Character Builds
The Militech "Apogee" Sandevistan belongs in a Reflexes build. The bonuses favor precise, hard-hitting attacks. Headshots with pistols, revolvers and precision rifles gain the most from the headshot bonus. Blades gain from the crit bonuses and the Stamina refunds. Bullet Time makes Bullet Deflect free of Stamina whenever time is slowed. Deflected bullets then hit enemies for Crit Damage. Dash and Air Dash help V close the distance while enemies are slowed. Sharpshooter and Practice Makes Perfect add even more Crit Chance and Crit Damage for each successful shot.
From the Technical Ability tree, Ticking Time Bomb sets off a charged EMP each time a Sandevistan starts. Extended Warranty adds duration to all cyberware effects, including this one. Cyborg shortens all cyberware cooldowns when every slot is filled. From the Cool tree, Road Warrior lets V use the Sandevistan while driving.
For cyberware, Kiroshi "Cockatrice" Optics add even more Crit Chance. The Newton Module and Axolotl shorten cooldowns, so the Apogee comes back sooner. The Kerenzikov slows time for a moment during dodges and slides. It covers the gaps while the Apogee recharges.
Select a Build
The Sandevistan goes on at the start of every fight to slow time. Blades close the gap on groups, and a revolver lands easy headshots while time is slowed. Kills extend the Sandevistan, so the character moves from one target to the next without stopping.

Lore
Officially, the Apogee does not exist. Its in-game description says this model of Sandevistan exists only off the record. Rumors tie it to secret Militech labs on the Moon that build covert cyberware. The text says it was never meant for mass production. It also says an army would need only a few pieces like this one to beat its enemies.
The Militech "Falcon" Sandevistan is its close relative. Both come from the same corporation, and both can be started at any charge level. The Apogee pushes the time slow further and trades the Falcon's healing for Stamina.
Notes
- The Apogee fills the operating system slot, so it replaces a Berserk or a cyberdeck.
- The Militech "Falcon" Sandevistan is the closest alternative. It slows time less, but it lasts longer and heals V after each kill.
