Iron Helmet Location
Blacksmiths and general goods merchants sell it from level 1. Chests and other random loot often hold one, and bandits wear it. During Unbound, one lies on the ground by a cart in the caves under Helgen Keep, just before the bear.
Gameplay Tips
- Temper it at a workbench with one Iron Ingot.
- From the start of the game, any forge makes it from 3 Iron Ingots and 2 Leather Strips.
- Four matching Iron pieces count as a matched set for the Matching Set perk, which adds 25% armor.
Smithing Guide
Enchanted weapons require the Arcane Blacksmith Perk to upgrade.
