Pride is Rogue Amendiares' pistol, a Constitutional Arms Liberty. It forms a matched pair with her rifle Prejudice. The item text calls it Rogue's pride and joy. V can only pick it up in the final assault on Arasaka Tower on Rogue's path, after the fight with Adam Smasher. Pride's first shot is always a crit. While V's Health is high, headshots deal far more damage. A kill with Prejudice also lets Pride fire for a short time without using ammo. It is a precise, hard-hitting sidearm for a player who keeps V's Health high and aims for the head. Pride is an endgame reward from the main job Knockin' on Heaven's Door. It is picked up after the fight with Adam Smasher on Rogue's path.
Combat
Pride is a Power pistol built around crits and headshots. The first shot is a guaranteed crit, so the start of each fight hits hard. While V's Health stays high, headshots gain a large damage bonus. A careful, unhurt V becomes a deadly marksman. Pride also deals extra headshot damage to elite enemies.
The link with Prejudice is its second effect. After a kill with Prejudice, V can swap to Pride and fire for a short time without using ammo. Used together, the two guns take turns. V fires a burst from the rifle, then a free volley from the pistol, then swaps back again. The headshot bonus needs high Health, so Pride rewards fighting from cover and avoiding damage.

- Play For Whom the Bell Tolls at the Afterlife and fly to Arasaka Tower with Rogue.
- In Knockin' on Heaven's Door, find and defeat the commanding officer, then search his body.
- Ride the elevator to the atrium and connect Alt to the system in the server room.
- Take the elevator down to the netrunner's nest and open the gate to Mikoshi.
- Defeat Adam Smasher.
- Pick up Rogue's gun, Pride, before going on to the Mikoshi Access Point.

Upgrades
Pride can be upgraded through the crafting menu's Upgrades tab, one tier at a time. Each step costs crafting components, which come from looting, crafting and breaking down spare gear. The pistol must be in V's inventory to show in the list.

Character Builds
Pistols use the Cool tree. Focus adds to the high-Health headshot bonus. It also enables Focus mode while V aims at full Stamina. Deadeye adds more headshot damage. Head To Head keeps Focus active after each aimed kill. Rinse And Reload speeds up the next reload after a kill while aiming. Quick Draw speeds up the swap to the pistol and restores Stamina in combat, which helps with the swaps to and from Prejudice.
Keeping Health high is part of the build. Pain Editor cuts all incoming damage. Painducer turns part of the damage taken into damage over time. Both help V stay above the Health needed for the bonus. The Militech Apogee Sandevistan adds headshot damage and crit stats while time slows. The Ballistic Coprocessor improves ricochets with Power weapons.

Lore
Rogue is one of the great solos of Night City's past. She worked with Johnny Silverhand in her youth. After his death, she gave up fighting and became the Afterlife's fixer. Pride was her weapon in the days when she fought her own way to the top.
On Rogue's path to the ending, Johnny takes over V's body and asks her for one last raid on Arasaka Tower. In Knockin' on Heaven's Door, the team fights through the tower, frees Weyland, connects Alt to the system and pushes down toward Mikoshi. The way to Mikoshi is guarded by Adam Smasher, the Arasaka cyborg who killed Johnny decades before. After the fight, Rogue's gun can be picked up as an optional objective.

- Pride is only available on Rogue's path to the ending.
