The Kanetsugu is an Arasaka holographic scope made for handguns. It adds a small zoom and a little effective range. It also adds Crit Chance at both of its tiers, and the Tier 5 variant adds Crit Damage too. It suits a late game pistol or revolver build that wants critical hits from its sight. The Kanetsugu is a late game scope that weapon vendors sell from level 30.

Effect

A scope sits in a weapon's scope slot and changes how the gun aims. The Kanetsugu adds +0.3 zoom at Tier 4 and +0.35 zoom at Tier 5. It raises effective range by 10% at Tier 4 and 12.5% at Tier 5.

The scope also adds Crit Chance. The bonus is +3% at Tier 4 and +5% at Tier 5. The Tier 5 variant also adds +10% Crit Damage.

Upgrades

The Kanetsugu comes in Tiers 4 and 5. Tier 5 raises every bonus and adds Crit Damage. A scope can only go on a weapon of the same tier or a higher one.

Character Builds

The Kanetsugu suits a Cool build that fights with pistols and revolvers. Focus adds headshot and weak spot damage with these guns. Deadeye adds more of the same bonus. Kiroshi "Cockatrice" Optics add Crit Chance as well, so the bonuses stack toward more critical hits.

Lore

The in-game description calls the Kanetsugu precise, discreet and reliable. It describes the holographic handgun scope as yet another masterpiece delivered by Arasaka.
