Pariah is Solomon Reed's personal pistol, an Iconic Militech Ticon. V can only take it from him at the end of the Songbird path in Phantom Liberty. Reed's modifications make it silent. Its charged shots fire three rounds at once, each at full damage. Headshots then cut the charge time and speed up reloads. Several headshots in a row make the pistol faster and faster. It is a quiet, precise Tech sidearm for a stealth or Technical Ability build. It also comes with the hardest choice in the expansion. Pariah is a late Phantom Liberty reward from the main job The Killing Moon at the NCX Spaceport. Reed drops it if V sides with Songbird.
Combat
Pariah is a Tech pistol with a built-in silencer. Uncharged shots work like a quiet, accurate sidearm. Holding the trigger charges the pistol. The charged shot fires three rounds at once, each dealing full damage. As a Tech weapon, a charged shot can also go through cover.
The Iconic effect rewards headshots. Each headshot cuts the charge time and speeds up reloads for a while, and the bonus stacks. Steady headshots therefore make the charged triple shot come out faster and faster. In stealth, the silencer lets V start fights without raising the alarm. In open combat, a charged triple shot to the head is a strong way to finish a tough target.
How to Get Pariah Guide
- In Firestarter, choose to help Songbird escape instead of handing her to Reed.
- Play The Killing Moon and fight through the NCX Spaceport with Songbird.
- Carry Songbird to the shuttle, where Reed is waiting.
- Defeat Reed and take Pariah from his body.
Pariah Quest Guide
- Help Songbird escape in Firestarter, then finish Run This Town to reach the main job The Killing Moon. Handing her to Reed loses Pariah.
- Answer Songbird's message and meet her.
- Drive to the NCX Spaceport and stall to give Songbird time to hack the database.
- Escort Songbird through the spaceport and fight off the enemies along the way.
- Carry Songbird toward the shuttle until Reed blocks the way.
- Refuse to hand her over and draw a weapon on Reed. Calling Reed to make a deal loses Pariah.
- Defeat Reed and loot Pariah from his body.

Character Builds
Pariah uses perks from two attribute trees, Technical Ability and Cool. Bolt raises charge speed and charged-shot damage. It also makes a shot count as fully charged if the trigger is released just before full charge. Lightning Storm speeds up the next charge after each Bolt, which adds to the headshot bonus. Shock Value lets Bolts ignore Armor. In Charge stops Tech weapons from firing automatically at full charge. V can then hold the triple shot until a head is in the sights.
From Cool, Focus and Deadeye add headshot damage. Killer Instinct adds damage with silenced guns outside combat. Feedback Circuit restores Health when a fully charged Tech shot hits. Electromag Recycler restores both Health and Stamina on the same kind of hit. Kiroshi Stalker Optics link to the equipped Tech weapon and show enemies behind cover.

Lore
Solomon Reed is an FIA sleeper agent and an old partner of Songbird. He is the one who brings V into the plan to free her from Kurt Hansen. In Firestarter, V has to choose between Reed and Songbird. Choosing Songbird turns Reed into an enemy and leads into The Killing Moon.
In The Killing Moon, V helps Songbird reach a shuttle at the Night City spaceport while the NUSA moves in, under Myers' direction. The route through the spaceport is long, with heavy fighting and room for stealth. When V finally carries Songbird to the shuttle, Reed is already waiting. He tells V to set her down and will shoot to kill if V comes too close. If the confrontation ends with Reed dead, Pariah can be taken from his body.
Notes
- Siding with Reed in Firestarter makes Pariah impossible to get.
- Pariah is the Iconic variant of the Militech Ticon.
