The Militech Ticon is an older Tech pistol, the model that came before the M-76e Omaha. Its in-game line calls it the older model of the Omaha handgun. It says the pistol is good at what it does despite its age, just like an old-school special agent. Its charged shot fires three rounds at once, and each round deals full damage. The Ticon works best as a sidearm in a Technical Ability or Cool build. It is the base gun for the Iconic pistols Pariah and Scorch. Weapon shops sell the Ticon and enemies drop it. A Tech build can use it through most of the story.
Combat
The Ticon is a Tech weapon. Holding the trigger charges the magnets in the barrel, and a full charge fires three rounds together. Each of those rounds deals the full charged damage. A charged Ticon shot can therefore deal triple damage if all three rounds hit. Like other charged Tech shots, those rounds can pierce cover to hit enemies behind it.
Uncharged, the Ticon fires like a normal pistol, which keeps it useful for quick shots while a charge is not ready. The newer Omaha turns a full charge into a burst. The Ticon fires all its charged rounds at once instead.

Upgrades
Only Iconic weapons can be upgraded, so a stronger Ticon comes from a higher tier. Shops and loot follow V's level. A crafted Ticon matches a bought one of the same tier. With the crafting spec, crafting components become a new pistol at V's current tier.
Character Builds
The Ticon uses perks from two attribute trees, Technical Ability and Cool. Technical Ability holds the Tech perks. Bolt shortens the charge. It also makes a shot count as fully charged if the trigger is released just before full charge. Internal Clock widens that timing window. Lightning Storm adds charge speed for every Bolt in a row. Shock Value makes Bolt shots ignore armor. Chain Lightning turns them into electrical arcs that jump to nearby enemies. Cool holds the pistol perks, including Focus, Deadeye, Quick Draw and Run 'N' Gun.
For cyberware, the Feedback Circuit restores Health on every fully charged Tech hit. It rewards a pistol built around charging. The Kiroshi Stalker Optics reveal enemies behind cover while V aims a Tech weapon. Its mod slots take pistol and Tech weapon mods. Supercharger speeds up charging and lowers Stamina cost. C-Thru makes it easier and cheaper to shoot through cover. Spinetickler adds a chance of an EMP blast on fully charged hits.
Select a Build
Ping reveals enemies behind walls, and Tech weapon shots pierce the cover between them. A charged shot released at the click of Bolt deals the most damage. With a Militech Sandevistan, the charge starts first and time slows at half charge so the Bolt shot lands as a headshot.
