The RT-46 Burya is a Techtronika Tech revolver, a heavy Soviet electromagnetic revolver that can shoot through walls. Its in-game line calls it an electromagnetic pistol that is always ready to fire. The line ends with a cheer for the progress of Soviet Socialist science. The Burya holds only four rounds, but each one hits hard and a charged one can pierce cover. It works best in a Cool or Technical Ability build that wants a sidearm for heavy single shots. It is the base gun for the Iconic revolvers Comrade's Hammer and Laika. Weapon shops such as the ones in Wellsprings and Arroyo sell the Burya, and enemies drop it. It can be found through most of the story.
Combat
The Burya fires from a four-round cylinder. As a Tech weapon, it can charge a shot to pierce cover, so an enemy behind a wall or a car can still be hit. The revolver can also fire straight away, which keeps it useful when there is no time to charge.
Four rounds run out quickly, so the Burya rewards shots that hit. Headshots have a big bonus on a revolver, and the Cool perks add more with Deadeye. The Kiroshi Stalker Optics show targets through walls, so V can even aim those headshots through cover.

Crafting Spec
The weapon vendor in Arroyo sells the RT-46 Burya spec. The spec lets V craft RT-46 Burya in the crafting menu. Every spec in the game is listed on the Crafting Specs page.
The table shows what crafting RT-46 Burya costs at each tier.
| Tier | Components |
|---|---|
| Tier 2 | 30 Tier 2 components |
| Tier 3 | 30 Tier 3 components |
| Tier 4 | 30 Tier 4 components |
| Tier 5 | 30 Tier 5 components |
Upgrades
Only Iconic weapons can be upgraded, so a stronger Burya comes from a higher tier. Shops and loot scale with V's level. A crafted revolver matches a bought one of the same tier. Its crafting spec is sold by the weapon shop in Arroyo. The spec turns crafting components into a new Burya at V's current tier.
Character Builds
The Burya uses perks from two attribute trees, Cool and Technical Ability. Cool holds the revolver perks. Focus and Deadeye reward aimed headshots. Long Shot keeps full damage at range during Deadeye. Nerves Of Tungsten-Steel makes Deadeye headshots guaranteed crits. High Noon speeds up the reload after a headshot kill. Technical Ability holds the Tech perks. Bolt adds charged-shot damage. It also makes a shot count as fully charged if the trigger is released just before full charge. Shock Value makes Bolts ignore armor. Chain Lightning turns them into electrical arcs that spread to nearby enemies.
For cyberware, the Kiroshi Stalker Optics show enemies hiding behind cover while V aims a Tech weapon. They help aim the Burya's shots through cover. The Feedback Circuit restores Health on every fully charged Tech hit. Its mod slots take revolver and Tech weapon mods. C-Thru makes it easier and cheaper to shoot through cover. Spinetickler adds a chance of an EMP blast on a fully charged hit. Pinpoint reduces spread after each headshot.
Select a Build
Ping reveals enemies behind walls, and Tech weapon shots pierce the cover between them. A charged shot released at the click of Bolt deals the most damage. With a Militech Sandevistan, the charge starts first and time slows at half charge so the Bolt shot lands as a headshot.

- Laika is a Phantom Liberty Iconic Burya from a banned Techtronika series. Its hits can set enemies on fire, and hits on burning enemies always crit. It comes from the Dogtown airdrop at Los Osos.
