The Kiroshi Sentry Optics show every security camera and turret near V after a scan. The highlight stays for a full minute. A stealth character can plan a route around the cameras, and a netrunner can pick devices to hack. The optics also add optical zoom while scanning or aiming. They suit an Intelligence build, and they add a small bonus to all damage for each point of Intelligence. The Kiroshi Sentry Optics are an early game implant that every ripperdoc sells from the start.
Effect
The Sentry works through the scanner. When V scans, the optics highlight cameras and turrets within a set radius. The radius grows with each tier. The highlight stays active for 60 seconds after the scan.
Knowing where cameras and turrets stand lets V avoid them or deal with them first. A netrunner can hack a highlighted camera or turret from a distance.
The optics also give optical zoom when scanning or aiming. The zoom level rises with each tier, from four times at Tier 1 up to ten times at Tier 5.
The Sentry is attuned to Intelligence. Each point of Intelligence adds a small bonus to all damage V deals.
How to Get Kiroshi Sentry Optics Guide

Upgrades
Ripperdocs sell the Sentry at Tier 1 at the start, Tier 2 from level 10, Tier 3 from level 20, Tier 4 from level 30 and Tier 5 from level 40. An installed copy can be raised a tier at a ripperdoc with the matching item components. Each tier widens the highlight radius and raises the zoom. Each copy also carries small stat bonuses. The Driver Update perk adds one more. The Chipware Connoisseur perk offers a choice of bonuses when V upgrades the implant. V gains Cyberware Capacity with each level and from Cyberware Capacity Shards. The Edgerunner perk lets V go over the limit at the cost of some max Health.
The table shows what each tier step of Kiroshi Sentry Optics costs at a ripperdoc.

Character Builds
The Sentry belongs in an Intelligence build. Eye In The Sky automatically highlights nearby Access Points and cameras. It also makes some quickhacks cheaper and longer when V uploads them through a camera. Warning: Explosion Hazard raises the explosion damage of hacked devices. Encryption lowers the traceability of all quickhacks.
The Mechatronic Core in the Frontal Cortex adds damage against drones, robots, mechs and turrets. It helps when a highlighted turret has to be destroyed rather than avoided.
The Face slot holds one implant at first. A second Face slot unlocks during the main job Birds with Broken Wings. With both slots open, the Sentry can sit beside one other Kiroshi implant. The Clairvoyant highlights enemies. The Doomsayer highlights explosive devices and traps. Kiroshi The Oracle Optics combine all three highlights in one implant, but they cost much more Cyberware Capacity and arrive later in the game.

The Monowire whips several enemies at once from a short distance, and quickhacks are uploaded between attacks. Intelligence perks give the Monowire more damage and return RAM on hits. Overclock spends Health in place of RAM when a fight drags on.
