Kiroshi The Oracle Optics combine three scanner highlights in one implant. A single scan marks nearby enemies, including those behind cover. The same scan marks cameras and turrets, and also explosive devices and traps. Every highlight stays for a full minute. The Oracle frees the second Face slot for something else, and it adds a little Health for each point of Body. Kiroshi The Oracle Optics are a late game implant that every ripperdoc sells from level 30.
Effect
The Oracle works through the scanner. A scan triggers three highlights at once. Enemies within a set radius are marked, and the mark also covers enemies behind cover. Cameras and turrets within a wider radius are marked. Explosive devices and traps near the crosshair and within a third radius are marked too. Each radius grows with each tier. All three highlights stay active for 60 seconds after the scan.
In practice, one scan at the door of a hideout shows the guards, the security and the traps. V can then plan a stealthy route, pick hacking targets or prepare a loud entry. The enemy highlight behind cover also helps in a firefight, where enemies duck out of sight.
The optics also give optical zoom when scanning or aiming. The zoom is eight times at Tier 4 and ten times at Tier 5.
The Oracle is attuned to Body. Each point of Body adds half a point of max Health through the implant.

Upgrades
Ripperdocs sell the Oracle at Tier 4 from level 30 and Tier 5 from level 40. An installed copy can be raised a tier at a ripperdoc with the matching item components. Each tier widens every highlight radius and raises the zoom. Each copy also carries small stat bonuses. The Driver Update perk adds one more. The Chipware Connoisseur perk offers a choice of bonuses when V upgrades the implant. V gains Cyberware Capacity with each level and from Cyberware Capacity Shards. The Edgerunner perk lets V go over the limit at the cost of some max Health.
The table shows what each tier step of Kiroshi The Oracle Optics costs at a ripperdoc.
| Upgrade | Components | Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Tier 4 to Tier 4+ | 20 Tier 4 components | - |
| Tier 4+ to Tier 5 | 15 Tier 5 components | - |
| Tier 5 to Tier 5+ | 20 Tier 5 components | - |
| Tier 5+ to Tier 5++ | 50 Tier 5 components | Phantom Liberty |
Character Builds
The Oracle does the work of three cheaper optics. The Clairvoyant marks enemies, the Sentry marks cameras and turrets, and the Doomsayer marks explosive devices and traps. With the Oracle in one Face slot, the second slot is free for another implant. The second Face slot unlocks during the main job Birds with Broken Wings.
The Body attunement makes the Oracle a natural choice for a Body build. Adrenaline Rush adds max Health and boosts Health regen from all sources. Painkiller unlocks Health regen in combat.
A netrunner can still use the camera and turret highlights. Eye In The Sky makes some quickhacks cheaper and longer when uploaded through a camera.

Headshots deal most of the damage, and Focus and Deadeye only work at full Stamina, so each fight starts with a full Stamina bar. The Sandevistan slows time so a whole group can drop one headshot at a time. A silenced pistol handles quiet kills before a fight, and a shotgun deals with enemies that get close.
