Suicide forces an enemy to turn their own weapon on themselves. The target puts a gun to their head and pulls the trigger. One upload removes one enemy without V firing a shot. It is brutal, and it costs a lot of RAM. It suits a late game Intelligence build, and it rewards a fighter who also lands melee Finishers. Suicide is a mid to late game ultimate quickhack that netrunner vendors sell from Tier 4 onward.
Effect
Suicide is an ultimate quickhack. V uploads it to one enemy, and that enemy kills themselves. The weapon they hold decides how. An enemy with a pistol shoots themselves in the head. An enemy with only a knife cuts their own throat instead. The upload takes only a second.
The death happens in front of the target's allies. It can draw their attention away from V for a moment. In a stealth mission, it alerts the enemies around the target.
The RAM cost is high. Suicide has its own discount to soften it. After V performs a melee Finisher, Suicide costs 10 RAM less for thirty seconds. This discount stacks twice.
Tier 5 adds healing. Each enemy neutralized with Suicide restores 10% of V's Health. The Iconic variant doubles that to 20%. A build that mixes melee Finishers and Suicide uploads can therefore heal through a long fight.
How to Get Suicide Guide
- Buy Suicide or its crafting spec from a netrunner vendor once Tier 4 stock appears.
- Breach Access Points with Breach Protocol for a chance at quickhacks.
- With Phantom Liberty, watch netrunner stock and enemy netrunner drops for the Iconic variant from around level 51.

Crafting Spec
Netrunner vendors sell the Suicide spec. The spec lets V craft Suicide in the crafting menu. Every spec in the game is listed on the Crafting Specs page.
Upgrades
Suicide comes in Tier 4 and Tier 5, plus an Iconic variant. Tier 4 has the base effect and the Finisher discount. Tier 5 adds Health on each kill. The Iconic variant keeps every effect and doubles the healing.
Netrunner vendors sell Suicide and its crafting specs. Crafting needs quickhack components of the matching tier. Breach Protocol on an Access Point can also reward quickhacks. Enemy netrunners can drop quickhacks and specs as well. The Iconic variant needs Phantom Liberty. Netrunners begin to offer Iconic quickhacks at around level 51, and their stock rotates. Enemy netrunners can drop the Iconic crafting spec too. Crafting the Iconic variant takes Tier 5 quickhack components.
Character Builds
Suicide belongs in an Intelligence build that also fights up close. Any melee Finisher starts the RAM discount. Finisher: Live Wire unlocks a Monowire Finisher on low Health enemies. It also restores Health and RAM. Siphon recovers RAM with every Monowire hit. Cripple Movement makes enemies more open to melee Finishers from Tier 4. At Tier 5 it restores Health and RAM after each Finisher on an affected enemy.
Overclock lets V upload Suicide with too little RAM, paying with Health instead. Blood Daemon restores Health for each quickhack queued on an enemy when V neutralizes them during Overclock. Power Surge restores Health the moment Overclock starts. Queue Mastery halves the RAM cost of the last quickhack that fills a queue, which suits an expensive finisher such as Suicide. Data Recycler returns most of the RAM spent on quickhacks still waiting in a queue when the target dies.
Hack Queue and Queue Acceleration let V stack cheaper quickhacks before Suicide. A Control quickhack such as Cripple Movement can hold the target in place while the queue uploads.
Select a Build
Quickhacks such as Contagion and Cyberpsychosis spend the RAM first, and Overclock then spends Health for more. The Thermal Monowire finishes enemies up close, and a CHAR Incendiary Grenade sets groups on fire. The Prototype: Shingen Mark V smart SMG covers longer range.
Attributes: Body 20, Reflexes 20, Technical Ability 20, Intelligence 16, Cool 5.

Lore
The in-game description is a single dark joke: suicide note not included. The text credits it to Emmalicious, who is said to have written the first suicide program.
Notes
- The way the target dies depends on the weapon in their hands, a gun or a knife.
- Each melee Finisher makes Suicide cheaper for thirty seconds, up to two stacks.
