The RAM Reallocator is an emergency RAM tank for netrunners. When V's RAM runs nearly dry, it instantly refills a large share of it. That lets V keep uploading quickhacks in the middle of a fight instead of waiting for RAM to recover. It suits any Intelligence build that spends RAM fast. High Intelligence also shortens its cooldown sharply, so a dedicated netrunner gets the refill far more often. The RAM Reallocator is a late game Phantom Liberty implant, sold by the ripperdocs in Dogtown and found in Dogtown airdrops.
Effect
The RAM Reallocator is a passive implant. It watches V's available RAM. When RAM falls to a fifth of the maximum, the implant instantly restores part of the maximum. At Tier 4 it restores about a third. At Tier 5++ it restores nearly half. The implant also adds two points to V's Max RAM at all times.
A cooldown follows each refill. At Tier 4 it lasts a little over a minute and a half. It shortens at the higher tiers, down to seventy-five seconds at Tier 5++.
The implant is attuned to Intelligence. Each Intelligence point cuts three seconds from the cooldown. A character with full Intelligence cuts a full minute from it.
The Camillo RAM Manager works the same way. The RAM Reallocator restores a larger share of RAM, and each Intelligence point cuts its cooldown by more.
How to Get RAM Reallocator Guide
- Install Phantom Liberty and reach Dogtown.
- Visit a ripperdoc in Dogtown in the late game to buy it at Tier 4.
- Return at level 40 for Tier 5.
- Loot it from an airdrop cache in Dogtown.
- Upgrade it at a ripperdoc with crafting components.

Upgrades
The RAM Reallocator comes in Tiers 4 and 5, with plus steps in between. Each step raises the share of RAM restored or shortens the cooldown. The capacity cost stays the same at every tier, and it is much heavier than the cost of the Camillo RAM Manager. Cyberware Capacity Shards and the Edgerunner perk help make room for it. A ripperdoc can upgrade it with crafting components up to Tier 5++.
The table shows what each tier step of RAM Reallocator costs at a ripperdoc.
| Upgrade | Components | Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Tier 4 to Tier 4+ | 40 Tier 4 components | - |
| Tier 4+ to Tier 5 | 30 Tier 5 components | - |
| Tier 5 to Tier 5+ | 40 Tier 5 components | - |
| Tier 5+ to Tier 5++ | 100 Tier 5 components | Phantom Liberty |
Character Builds
The RAM Reallocator belongs in an Intelligence build. Optimization raises the RAM recovery rate, which fills the gap between refills. Data Recycler recovers RAM from quickhacks left in a dead enemy's queue. Speculation recovers RAM when a Combat quickhack kills an enemy. Overclock lets V cast quickhacks with too little RAM by paying with Health.
Any cyberdeck works with it. Decks with large RAM pools, such as the NetWatch Netdriver or the Tetratronic Rippler at its highest tiers, gain the most from a percentage refill. The implant sits in one of the three Frontal Cortex slots. The Bioconductor, another Frontal Cortex implant, lets quickhacks land critical hits.

Lore
The RAM Reallocator is the Iconic variant of the Camillo RAM Manager. Both share the same in-game line. The text describes a mod that manages and optimizes RAM use between the brain and the cyberdeck. The RAM Reallocator does the same job on a larger scale. It is one of the Iconic implants that arrived with Phantom Liberty and are sold only inside Dogtown.
Notes
- The Camillo RAM Manager is the base implant. It costs far less capacity and restores a smaller share of RAM.
