Blue Fang is a throwing knife built to take enemies out of a fight quickly. A thrown hit stuns the target after a short delay, and a headshot shortens that delay. Enemies who are not yet in combat are stunned the moment it lands. Blue Fang is a strong first strike for a stealthy throwing build. It is also a reliable way to stop a dangerous enemy at once. Blue Fang is sold by the melee weapon vendor in Jackson Plains, out in the Badlands.
Combat
Blue Fang works best thrown. A body hit stuns the enemy a few seconds after impact, while a headshot stuns much sooner. A stunned enemy stops fighting for a while. V then has time to get close or set up a finisher. The high headshot bonus also makes the head the best target, both for damage and for a faster stun.
Against enemies who have not noticed V, the stun is instant. A knife to an unaware guard stuns the guard on the spot. Blue Fang is a quiet way to clear a room one target at a time. It also deals chemical damage and can poison its target.

Character Builds
Blue Fang works best with the throwing perks in the Cool tree. Scorpion Sting shortens the recovery after a throw. It also poisons on crits, headshots and weak spot hits. Neurotoxin then adds Blinding and blocks sprinting on poisoned enemies. Juggler resets the cooldown after a headshot or crit kill with a thrown weapon. Pounce lets V perform a finisher from farther away after hitting an enemy with a throw. Finisher: Act Of Mercy gives throwables a finisher of their own. Killer Instinct adds damage with knives outside of combat, which helps the first throw.
Handle Wrap raises crit chance with throwables after a throw. The Stabber adds crit chance with blades and throwables. Optical Camo helps V stay hidden for that first silent throw.
Select a Build
In stealth, System Collapse removes targets and takedowns restore RAM. In combat, Memory Wipe and Sonic Shock set up takedowns, and Blue Fang adds crowd control. Optical Camo puts the character back into stealth.

Lore
Blue Fang is the Iconic variant of the Neurotoxin Knife, a blade that mixes physical and chemical damage. Its teal blade is coated in a very effective neurotoxin. It comes from a shop counter rather than a job.
