Camillo RAM Manager

| Class | Frontal Cortex |

| Attribute | Intelligence |
The Camillo RAM Manager is a safety net for netrunners. It refills a large share of RAM the moment the pool runs nearly dry. A quickhacker can then keep uploading in the middle of a fight instead of waiting for RAM to trickle back. It suits Intelligence builds that spend RAM fast and often. It only becomes available late, so it is a mid to late game upgrade for a netrunner. The Camillo RAM Manager is a late game implant that ripperdocs start selling once V reaches level 30.
Effect
The Camillo RAM Manager works on its own. When available RAM falls to a low threshold, the implant instantly restores a portion of max RAM. It also raises max RAM by two units for as long as it is installed. After it fires, it needs 80 seconds before it can fire again.
The refill matters most in long fights against many enemies. A netrunner can empty the pool on a chain of Combat quickhacks and then get an instant top-up for the next chain. The trigger is automatic, so the timing is set by how fast V spends RAM.
The implant is attuned to Intelligence. Each point of Intelligence takes two seconds off its cooldown. A high Intelligence character therefore gets the refill noticeably more often.
How to Get Camillo RAM Manager Guide
- Reach level 30.
- Visit any ripperdoc clinic and open the Frontal Cortex slot.
- Buy and install the Camillo RAM Manager.

Upgrades
Ripperdocs sell the Camillo RAM Manager at Tier 4 from level 30 and at Tier 5 from level 40. An installed copy can be raised a tier at any ripperdoc with the matching item components. Higher tiers restore a larger share of RAM. Each implant costs Cyberware Capacity. V gains capacity with each level and from Cyberware Capacity Shards. The Edgerunner perk lets V go over the limit by up to 50 points, at the cost of some max Health.
The table shows what each tier step of Camillo RAM Manager costs at a ripperdoc.
| Upgrade | Components | Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Tier 4 to Tier 4+ | 20 Tier 4 components | - |
| Tier 4+ to Tier 5 | 15 Tier 5 components | - |
| Tier 5 to Tier 5+ | 20 Tier 5 components | - |
| Tier 5+ to Tier 5++ | 50 Tier 5 components | Phantom Liberty |
Character Builds
The Camillo RAM Manager belongs in an Intelligence build with a cyberdeck. The perk Optimization raises the RAM recovery rate, so the pool climbs back faster after the refill. Hack Queue and Queue Acceleration each add max RAM and let V stack more quickhacks on one target. Overclock lets V keep hacking with too little RAM by paying Health instead. The Camillo refill can delay the moment Overclock is needed.
Other Frontal Cortex implants fill out the same role. Ex-Disk adds max RAM and faster quickhack uploads. Memory Boost restores RAM every time V neutralizes an enemy. Two other implants work the opposite way. Feen-X and Cogito Lattice give their bonuses while RAM is low. The Camillo RAM Manager refills RAM at that same moment, so these implants pull against each other.
The Technical Ability perk Cyborg cuts all cyberware cooldowns by 15% when every available slot is filled. This also shortens the wait between refills.
