The Senkoh LX is a compact Tech submachine gun made by Arasaka together with the luxury clothier Jinguji. It fires normally on a tap. A full charge fires the rest of the magazine on full auto, and those rounds go through cover. The Senkoh works best in a Reflexes or Technical Ability build, where its charged mode can spray bullets through walls. Its in-game line sells it as a fashion item: self-defense has never been more stylish. It is also the base gun for the Iconic SMG Raiju from the Phantom Liberty expansion. The Senkoh LX is sold at the Jinguji store in Downtown. One also waits on a desk inside the 6th Street warehouse during the gig Nasty Hangover.
Combat
A tap of the trigger fires straight away from a thirty-round magazine. Holding the trigger charges the gun instead. Once fully charged, it fires the rest of the magazine on full automatic. Those charged rounds pass straight through cover. The Senkoh has two modes. Quick shots work on open targets, and the charged mode hits enemies hiding behind obstacles.
The charged mode fires whatever is left in the magazine. A fresh reload before charging gives it the most rounds to fire. Big Mag adds even more.

Upgrades
Only Iconic weapons can be upgraded, so a stronger Senkoh comes from a higher tier. Shop stock and loot rise with V's level. A bought SMG has the same stats as a looted one of the same tier.
Character Builds
The Senkoh uses perks from two attribute trees, Reflexes and Technical Ability. Reflexes holds the SMG perks. Ready, Rested, Reloaded lowers the Stamina cost of shooting and speeds up reloads at high Stamina. Mind Over Matter cuts recoil while aiming. Sharpshooter gains a stack with every hit. Practice Makes Perfect gives crit chance and crit damage for each stack. Submachine Fun, the top SMG perk, reloads the gun on a swap and adds fire rate. Technical Ability holds the Tech perks. Bolt speeds up charging. Lightning Storm adds more charge speed, and Shock Value makes Bolt shots ignore armor.
For cyberware, the Kiroshi Stalker Optics highlight enemies behind cover while V aims a Tech weapon. V can then aim the charged mode through walls. The Feedback Circuit heals V on fully charged Tech hits. Shock Absorber reduces recoil. Its mod slots take SMG and Tech weapon mods. Supercharger speeds up charging. C-Thru lowers the charge needed to pierce cover. It also reduces the damage lost when shooting through cover. Big Mag makes the magazine larger, which gives the charged mode more rounds to fire.
Select a Build
Ping reveals enemies behind walls, and Tech weapon shots pierce the cover between them. A charged shot released at the click of Bolt deals the most damage. With a Militech Sandevistan, the charge starts first and time slows at half charge so the Bolt shot lands as a headshot.

Lore
The Senkoh LX is sold as a fashion accessory as well as a gun. Arasaka built it together with Jinguji, a luxury clothing brand. The Jinguji store in Downtown sells it alongside the brand's clothes. One more copy waits for V during the gig Nasty Hangover, on the first desk inside the 6th Street warehouse.
Notes
- Raiju is the Phantom Liberty Iconic variant of the Senkoh LX, an Arasaka combat model. Its shots pass through obstacles without a charge, and headshots have a higher crit chance.
- Raiju is found in the BARGHEST smuggling tunnel between Dogtown and West Wind Estate, during the Increased Criminal Activity there.
