Ogou is an Iconic Kang Tao A-22B Chao taken from a Voodoo Boys combat robot. It is a Smart pistol from Phantom Liberty that fires explosive rounds. Each pull of the trigger fires a burst of two smart rounds that home in on the target and tear limbs off. Every dismemberment then raises V's crit chance and the chance to make enemies Bleed. The pistol gets stronger with every limb it removes. It works well for a netrunner or Smart weapon build that still wants heavy damage up close. It drops from an elite combat robot in a Dogtown gig. Ogou is a Phantom Liberty reward from the gig Treating Symptoms, in the Voodoo Boys base at the Luxor High Wellness Spa in Dogtown.
Combat
Ogou is a Smart pistol, so its rounds lock on and curve toward targets inside the tracking box. Each shot is a two-round burst of explosive smart rounds. Those rounds have a very high chance to dismember. Each dismemberment adds a stack of crit chance and Bleed chance for a short time. In a good fight, crits and bleeding enemies quickly pile up. The pistol also has a strong crit damage bonus at all times.
Ogou is at its best at short range, against gangers and soldiers who come close. A burst to the legs or arms can dismember, and the stacks build from there. Its strength comes from the Iconic effect and from V's build, so the perks below matter.

- Fight through to the server room, where Robot R Mk.2 units attack.
- Destroy the elite robot and loot Ogou from it.

Upgrades
Ogou can be raised through the tiers in the crafting menu's Upgrades tab. Each tier needs a batch of crafting components. The robots and gangers of Dogtown drop plenty of parts to disassemble. The pistol must be carried in V's inventory to show up.

Character Builds
Smart weapons use the Intelligence tree. Acquisition Specialist widens the smart targeting circle and speeds up target lock. Targeting Prism allows multiple locks while aiming. No Escape resets a fading lock when V keeps shooting the target. Recirculation restores RAM after a Smart weapon kill. In a netrunner build, that RAM pays for more quickhacks. Smart Synergy gives instant locks and extra damage against quickhacked enemies while Overclock is active.
As a pistol, Ogou also uses the Cool handgun perks. Run 'N' Gun removes the Stamina cost of hip-firing a pistol, which helps with Ogou's close-range bursts. The Smart Link cyberware enables smart targeting and adds crit damage with Smart weapons. It adds to Ogou's own crit damage bonus. A Sandevistan with crit damage, such as the Dynalar, makes every crit from the stacks stronger.

Lore
Treating Symptoms is a job from Mr. Hands. The target is Milko Alexis, a netrunner working with the Voodoo Boys. Mr. Hands sends V into the gang's base at the Luxor High Wellness Spa to neutralise him. The base is well defended, with a turret near the entrance and heavy resistance throughout.
Deeper inside, a group of Robot R Mk.2 combat robots guards the server room. Ogou drops from the elite robot among them. Past the server room, V finally reaches Milko, who is jacked in. Another netrunner stands beside him and asks V not to kill Milko yet. What happens next is V's choice.
