Tsumetogi is the signature katana of Hiromi Sato, the Tyger Claws boss who runs the Clouds doll house. It turns the blade's damage into Electrical damage and adds a chance to Shock. Its Iconic effect also rewards attacking on the move. Attacks made while blocking, sprinting, jumping or crouching hit harder than normal swings. Tsumetogi is a katana for a fast Reflexes build that dashes, leaps and counters. It is a reward from Judy's side job Pisces, where it rests on a table in Hiromi's office. Tsumetogi is a mid-game find in Hiromi Sato's penthouse office in Megabuilding H8, Japantown. It is found during Judy Álvarez's side job Pisces.
Combat
Tsumetogi is a katana, so it swings fast and can block. Its Iconic effect turns its damage into Electrical damage. Each hit also has a small chance to Shock the target, which adds Electrical damage over time.
The bigger bonus is for attacks made on the move. Strikes made while blocking, sprinting, jumping or crouching all deal more damage. A Reflexes build already fights this way, with dashes, leaps and counters, so the bonus triggers often. A crouched approach into a sprint attack, or a leap from above, makes the most of it. Blocking also counts, so a well-timed counter after a block hits harder too.

Character Builds
Blades use the Reflexes tree. Lead And Steel lowers blade Stamina costs and lets V block bullets with the katana. Bullet Deflect sends those bullets back where V aims. Bullet Time makes deflections free and turns them into crits while time is slowed. Flash And Thunderclap turns strong attacks into leaps toward nearby enemies. Tsumetogi's bonus also applies to these leaps. Seeing Double adds damage and Stun chance to counterattacks. Finisher: Bladerunner adds attack speed and a blade finisher that heals V. Flash Of Steel then boosts speed after each finisher.
For cyberware, a Sandevistan slows time and gives V time to set up sprint and leap attacks. Stabber raises crit chance with blades. Microrotors raise melee attack speed. A Berserk operating system removes Stamina costs for melee while it is active.
Select a Build
The Sandevistan goes on when a clear path runs through three or four enemies, then goes off to save its duration. The Sandevistan is switched off before a Finisher, because the animation wastes its time. Dashes and air Dashes dodge bullets and reach the next target instantly.
Attributes: Body 20, Reflexes 20, Technical Ability 20, Intelligence 3, Cool 18.

Lore
The item text calls Tsumetogi a custom-made marvel, truly one of a kind. It belongs to Hiromi Sato, the Tyger Claws boss in charge of Clouds. Judy Álvarez wants to free the dolls of Clouds from the gang's control, and she has found an ally in Maiko Maeda.
In Pisces, Judy and V fight the Tyger Claws for control of the maintenance level of Megabuilding H8. V then climbs to the roof and finds a way into Hiromi's penthouse. Inside the office, Maiko is already waiting, and Hiromi sits with other Tyger Claws bosses. Maiko has plans of her own for Clouds. V has to decide how the meeting ends, by talking or by fighting.
Tsumetogi rests on a table in the middle of that meeting room. If V leaves it there, it can still be looted from Hiromi Sato once he wakes up.
Notes
- Taking Tsumetogi from the table is the simplest route, because looting it from Hiromi means waiting for him to wake up.
